SAT Format:
The SAT Mathematics Section consists of three sections: 16 questions in 20 minutes, 20 questions in 25 minutes, and 18 questions in 25 minutes. The 16 and 20 question sections are entirely multiple choice. On the 18 question section, the first 8 questions are multiple choice and the last 10 questions are student produced response. The questions are arranged roughly from easier to more difficult within each section. On the 18 question section, the eight multiple choice questions are arranged from easier to more difficult, and the 10 student produced response questions are separately arranged from easier to more difficult.
